I LOOOOOOVE traditions. In fact, it isn't too far-fetched to say that I want to make everything a tradition. Brandon often sets me straight when we are doing something and I say something like, "Let's go to Publix first thing in the morning every second Saturday" or "Let's get ice cream and make milkshakes every May 7th". Here are some of our traditions that we have established for Christmastime.
A present from Mammaw and Pappaw on Christmas Eve - It has always been our tradition to spend Christmas Eve with Brandon's grandparents. I love it!
Opening his present while wearing his really cool "hand painted by Henry" Christmas tree shirt

I don't know why I didn't leave his pajamas on for Christmas morning. He is naked in all his pictures. I will not be continuing that tradition. On Christmas morning (and each Christmas morning in the future), Henry opened up three presents - a different baby Jesus to be placed in each of our three nativity scenes.
Lighting the Christ candle - having the advent wreath and candles is a new tradition this year that we will continue. We bought scented candles for the three purple ones and one pink one - which made our home smell wonderfully.
Henry on Christmas day, holding a picture of himself on his first Christmas day. This tradition will continue each Christmas day. Next year he will hold a picture of this picture, etc.
