Henry's face started getting lots of "sores" (which are noticeable in Easter day pictures for your reference) on Friday/Saturday. I got concerned on Monday when they appeared in his diaper area and on his fingers. I took him to the pediatrician (for the first time aside from well visits). They said he had yeast and bacterial infections. Yikes! He is now on two oral medications and a topical ointment.
At the doctor's office
After screaming from the medicine, we found that we could calm him into a slumber by moving the swing outside. Daddy utilized that time to mow the lawn.
Medicine time with Mommy.
Aunt EA helps with the medicine.
Update as of May 1: His face is looking a little bit better. I can't tell about his tongue. His diaper area and fingers look about the same. The medicine is really gross but he is getting all of it in the morning and evening, which is a vast improvement! We may go visit the doctor again just to follow up.
Side note: Henry's baptism tree has its first (and now second) bloom!
