Katie asked me to be Chloe's godmother, and of course, I was honored. I was so thankful to be able to make the trip to N.C. for her baptism on October 2nd. What a special day with such beautiful friends and family of Katie and Gray's. My mom made the trip with me which, although the trip was just a super quick "up and back", was a fun time to be with her as well. The baptism was at the chapel on the Marine base (New River Air Station). It was beautiful and the chaplain was so dear. Katie outdid herself with a nice reception at their home afterward with a gorgeous spread of food. There were about 35 people there.
