Our simple one-night vacation to Royal Plaza Hotel was wonderful! Royal Plaza's fountain is very special. When Brandon was little, he lived in the Royal Plaza with his dad while his parents were separated. He would throw pennies in the fountain and wish that his parents would get back together. His parents are happily married and as Brandon and I were dating, on special occasions and for special reasons, we would visit the fountain and make a wish of our own. We wished that we would stay together when I moved to Furman, we wished that we would get married, etc. We haven't been back since we got married, and what better time to make a special wish than now. The infertility testing, stress, and crappiness for the past 16 months has taken a toll on both of us, and getting away (even if it wasn't that far), making our special wish in the fountain, and relaxing was exactly what we needed.
